·     12 noon – 2 pm.

·     3-course lunch with coffee and mints.

·     A free gift for mum is included.

·     £19.50 adults and £9.50 for children under 14.

Starter

Pea and Ham Soup

Blended petit pois with crisp Parma ham

Beef Carpaccio

Black pepper and thyme crusted rib of beef, sliced thinly and served rare,

accompanied by capers and rocket leaves

Crayfish, crab and radish

Succulent crayfish and crab on a Dijon mayonnaise, garnished with radish and

mustard cress, served with sliced French baguette

Mozzarella and Tomato

Plum tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad, with mizuna lettuce & balsamic vinaigrette

 

 Main Course

Roast Sirloin of Beef

Thyme roasted beef, served medium with Yorkshire pudding, roasted red onions with red wine jus

Pan-Fried Chicken Breast

Pan-fried chicken supreme with a cider cream sauce and griddled asparagus

Smoked Haddock

Smoked haddock on a fluffy risotto bed topped with a poached egg

Root Vegetable Pie (v)

Seasonal root vegetables served with a volute sauce

Tea and Scones

Set Earl Grey flavoured egg custard with a strawberry and cream scone

Rhubarb Crumble

Poached rhubarb with a crunchy cinnamon topping served with custard

Strawberry Bavarois

Strawberry mousse set onto sugared shortbread base, finished with Chantilly cream

Chocolate Fondant

Chocolate sponge with a soft chocolate sauce centre served with honeycomb ice-cream
